You can hire a bike from Puerto Madryn and cycle to see the Sea Lions in around 1hr. You need to be resonably fit and you need to hire a mountain bike (anything else won't handle the trail as it's a bit rough in places). Or alternatively you can take a taxi.

About 20 min south of Puerto Madryn and a huge group of sea lions to be seen from 'above'. Recommendable if you don't have a full day to ride out to the Peninsula. Take a look from here before you go diving with them. Tip: the rangers there know a hell of a lot, can tell you even stories about...

It is just a small group of sealions that you can see there. About 300 the ranger told us. Staff is nice and helpfull. Low tide is the best moment to go and see. Rent a car to go there or take a taxi.

Went to Punta Luma, it was nice to se the animals, but there is nothing much to do there, except for 10-15 min of picture taking.
