The grand canyon is amazing and a must see! We had a great morning at the west rim. We started early as the sun can get really strong in the middle of the day and it gets really busy, make sure you take lots of water.

Being that an indian teritorry i understand there are different charges as normal national parks around grand canyon. But the cheapest ticket over $70 is a rip off. Definitelly not worth to spend more than $5 for what you will see. South grand canyon or any other has way better view and cost 3x less. Additionally, the road to there... More

Grand Canyon West and Skywalk are well worth seeing. We traveled from Las Vegas and stopped at the Hoover Dam, arriving at Grand Canyon West about 5 PM. We had bought a tranquility package and stayed overnight at the Hualapai Ranch so that we could experience the sunset and sunrise in an almost empty environment. We saw the sunset at... More

For starters, the view is breathtaking ...but only from Guano Point. This is the only place that can actually compensate you - somehow - for the pricey entrance fee. The intervention to the nature, in order to accomodate more and more visitors seemed extremely extensive and "poorly" done. If you decide to go (I beleive that the National Park is... More

We had the privilege of visiting Grand Canyon West and we were not disappointed. The sweeping canyon's size can only be imagined by sight. Upon arriving at GCW, there is a shuttle which takes you around to three different vantage points fr which to view the canyon. Given the size of the canyon, any of these are equally impressive. I... Let me start by saying that you can do a number of things at "Grand Canyon West" - my wife, adult son and I took the rafting trip, with trip to the glass bridge and a helicopter ride. I would recommend it to any hearty traveler, though I would not do it again (I'm 60 and this was a once... More

Started out from Las Vegas. Got a lot of different advice re. time to get to the west rim from LV. We use 3 hours, having some slow traffic near Hoover Dam. As seen on the pictures there is some really rough road. I'd guess at least 10 miles (16km) of it is really slow. If anyone says it is... More

I hear the south rim is much better but for my first trip to the Grand Canyon, this was pretty amazing. It was a little pricy, but i loved the skywalk and would pay to do it again.
