We had a season pass to visit when we lived in Arizona. It's a great zoo! Yes it gets hot- plan on that and wear good walking shoes or bring a bike. This zoo, is an awesome zoo!! Lots of walking, and the animals, like us humans, do not enjoy the heat....so come early. Also, the food here is expensive. Enjoy the morning with the animals, then go and have an nice air conditioned lunch! more

We really enjoyed this zoo because we had gone at opening and we were allowed to help feed some of the animals which is not an experience you get in most zoos. That made it all more interesting! more
