The asian market is okay and it seems to be the best for fresh fish and meats, Asian style, in the region, but not Chinatown quality. The nearby stores have some interesting oriental stuff if you are into that...

Don't expect a miniature version of San Francisco's or New York's Chinatowns. This center is a small mall, consisting of restaurants, a supermarket, and China-related businesses. The giftshops sell tasteless Chinatown-type souvenirs. The Golden Buddha and Schechwan Palace restaurants are pretty good. The supermarket is heavily patronized by east Asian and Latino customers and have some items that are hard...

All that's there are two or three restaurants one food market and one gift shop but there is a very small garden to walk around in. I do note the one restaurant called Szechuan Palace is worth visiting because you can get authentic style Chinese Food, if you order from the Chinese Menu not the American Chinese favorites. The water...

The place is peopled by Asians. They eat and shop here, making it authentic. Don't forget to tour the small sculpture garden and visit the predictable gift shops. You will find interesting Asian foods in the market. Needs more cultural info. Be sure and visit the Herbal shop and have a check in with the doctor
this place is kind of boreing, need some more restaurants and night life
Phoenix does not have many distinctive cultural area so to have a small place that introduces you to the Asian culture is fun. I've never been at night but it...

The park at the Chinese Cultural Center is a delight and very interesting. Go for Dim Sum and then take a stroll. Stop at the Asian grocery before you leave. Parking is free and plentiful, a real plus.
We had a large group so we arranged for a guide's expertise in dishing out the center's history. Upscale shopping, a fabulous grocery (bring a cooler for fish and refrigerated items), restaurants and gardens make a visit very enjoyable.
This is one of my favorite places to get amazing ingredients you cant find at your local grocery store.
