Things are changing at Papago GC since the LPGA was there. The course is a classic design that should be appreciated by golf historians. Just returned from our first golfing trip to Arizona. Played six rounds of golf at six different courses. We were charged $99 each to play at Papago - what a rip off! We paid half of that or less at the other far superior courses. Course was not in good condition - dry, hard, not well maintained. No bathroom buildings... more

Course supposedly had a multimillion dollar renovation. My question is: Who's pocket did the money go into????? This place wasn't worth the $49 paid to play it.
