I found out about this musuem through Tripadvisor. It seems Wells Fargo has several museums throughout the country. This museum is located in downtown Phoenix on Adams Street (near Washington and Central). There is plenty of street parking with 1-hour meters. You probably wouldn't need much more time than that. The museum is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and admission is FREE!... more

You'll find you definitely want to stay awhile and linger so you won't miss a single exhibit. In addition to an actual Wells Fargo stagecoach and samples of gold, there is a LOT of authentic Western memorabilia here. There is genuine artwork by CM Russell and others.
