First chance to enjoy desert golf. Fantastic experience. Front nine do-able for occasional golfers; the back nine is a huge challenge. Expect a slow round due to the challenging nature of the course. Beautifully maintained.
Lookout Mountain was a course I had looked at and really wanted to play. It lived up to my expectation. It was in good shape and it was a very nice lay out with some great views of the surrounding mountains. It was a little noisy in some spots but a fun course. I plan to return.
Golfed on the 7th of March, really surprised that prices chage by the hour and was completly shocked at the large fee charged for cart and club rentals. Make sure you book via a web site and bring your own clubs. Also the course played slow due to some novice players 4 holes ahead of us and when discussed with...

A gorgeous course, and not too pricey (we paid $68 incl. cart by booking online). Classic desert course, where you're into the rocks and gravelly "sand" if you miss the fairway by even an inch --- so bring your "Arizona iron" - that beat up old 7-iron or other extra club that you can use to hit off the scrabble...

We golfed at 4 different golf courses - this course was the best golf experience. Challenging but fun, beautiful scenery, polite and professional staff, well priced - the Hilton consierge went on line to get us the best price. A wonderful golf day!!!
I had a chance to play the Lookout Mountain Golf Club in mid-November 2011. The last time I was here was in 2004 when I was staying in the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort that is attached to the golf course. A very nice resort back then. I played the course then and I thought it was a good track....

Golfed here during a recent trip to Phoenix with my wife. We had golfed here last year and enjoyed the course so we figured we would golf here again. We were highly disappointed with the changes that have been made to the course. They took all of the 3 water out on a few holes, a par 3 and the...

From the opening hole, you know this will be a unique Arizona experience. All lush green grass and perfectly maintained. The front nine might lull you into 'I can still golf' mode. The back nine will test your will with target golf. Still very lush but not the 'spray away' of the front nine.
What more can you ask for...
