Top-to-bottom tour is an extra fee, but the tour is limited to 6 people, so it is very much like a private tour. It is a 4-5 hour tour, and there are ladders that one must climb, so it is not for the out of shape individuals. It shows you all the nooks and crannies in the silo on every... more

For men who have served in the armed forces, this is a must see. Visitors are allowed to descend into the missile silo they learn about how the United States was prepared to respond if attacked. An interesting movie tells the story before the tour. A little pricy ($12.00 each) but worth it. You won't see this anywhere else. more

Wonderfully detailed museum. If your a rocket geek, you can wax prolific on the nozzle configurations of the staging, the propellants, and the tour of the launch complex.. It's all there ready to see.. Plus the Bomb is on display as well.. This pix is my dr. strangelove moment.. we went through the entire launch sequence w/ the docent down... more

For anyone who grew up during the Cold War, this place is a must see. It's the real thing, a place where a nuclear missile would have been launched against the USSR. Tours begin around 9:00am, and for $9.50, one gets a one hour tour of this relic of the Cold War. It's interesting seeing the conditions under which the... more

As a person who loves American history and grew up watching the Cold War movies of the 80's, the Titan silo was a site I had been waiting to have a chance to see. The site in Tucson is the only surviving Titan II missile of the 54 that used to be located in Arizona, Kansas and Arkansas. All the... more

Combined with a visit to the Pima Air and Space Museum, this tour of a old titan missile complex offers a unique perspective into our military capabilites. Who knew we had nuclear missiles in Arizona? A brief intro, a walk around the top where you can see various support equipment and look through glass at the titan in its silo,... more

The hour-long tour of this facility covers topics that aren't addressed in many other venues in the country, and this facility is certainly a one-of-a-kind. The highlight for me was getting to stand in the actual launch-control room dating back multiple decades and watching the docent actually similate a launch of the missile, with a simultaneous turn of two separate... more
