The course was in great shape. Super fast greens. Never had to worry about hitting a house. We got a great rate through EZLinks.

Overall course conditions were excellent, very smooth and fast greens, I thought were a little better then Troon North. The fairways were enormous, but fairly standard layout where it's just back and forth. I played twilight rate which was ok, I wouldn't play this course for full price. The ball rolls here if you hit the fairway. Beware of the desert for it can jump up and bite you.

We played the "North Course". This was the last course we played in our week long visit to Scottsdale and even though we enjoyed our round very much, I wouldn't call this course exciting by any stretch. First course we played on our trip, and it was a good one to warm up on. Nicely maintained, good layout, but not overly challenging. Played the South course as there was a celebrity tournament going on on the North course. Driving range and grill are both very nice. Pace of play was excellent.

We played Talking Stick South one morning in October. We had a local member join our group and he was fabulous to play with, knowledgeable about the course as well as local information.
