Played this on our recent golf trip with 12 of us in total. We played 5 other courses as well including Both TPC courses, Eagle Mountain, Superstition Mountain and Estrella Mountain. This was the consensus least impressive of all the courses we played with some decent holes, okay but not great conditioning, slower okay greens and way too many houses... More

My first visit to Legend Trail but had always heard good things about it. For a rate this time of year on Golf Now of $79 bucks I figured I couldn't go wrong. And, the course did not disappoint. Nice wide fairways, you can let it rip here. The cactus and critters are very cool and the scenery is exceptional.... More

Not sure why this course make my game cry. But try as I do it bring me back, so it makes me try harder each time. Not up to the high end courses by far but a good course still.

We lost more than a few balls playing this round of golf. The fairways are not skinny but I wouldn't call them generous by any standard and if you left the fairway you were treated to the desert and all it's glory. The started said it best when he told us before leaving for the 1st hole when he told... More

Pretty solid track at a really good price.....great practice facility (I would go just for this). It is a bit of a drive from the center of town.... Please see my blog at http://talesfromtheroad-mwalno.blogspot.com/ Arrived 1/2 hour before our tee time and the guys working bag drop and the club house were GREAT. They were able to re spike my... I love this course. BUT...it is very slow. this is a typical target golf course in outstanding condition but less than stellar golfers will spend lots of time looking for balls in the desert. My advice get an early time and bring a few extra balls.

If you are looking for a course with top playing conditions then this is it. Not quite as scenic as other Arizona courses we played and almost every hole was lined with new homes. probably in line price wise with the Scottsdale area but if I am going to pay $125 for a round I would rather play Dinosaur Mountain.
