A nice place to visit, its beautiful. Very clean too. Great place to take a walk. Expensive shops, yes, but still fun to look around. 'El Rincon' restaurant has a beautiful outside dining area. Tlaquepaque is definitely worth seeing, you'll feel like youre in a different country [Mexico] more

Place is way overrated. Just a bunch of expensive shops with little in the way of variety. Restaurants suck here, not even open for dinner. What kind of joke is that ? Parking is difficult and signage poor. Disbelieve the advertising hype this place puts out -- skip it entirely if coming to Sedona. Just go to the main drag... more

There are six areas within the arts and crafts village (A-E), with lots of unique little shops, galleries, and restaurants. I was amazed by the number of statues, water fountains and courtyards through-out the area. It's in a beautiful setting, at the foot of the red rocks, with the creek running through it. We took a lot of photos here,... more

Tlaquepaque is akin to the fantasy malls of Vegas (the Forum Shops, the Venetian Shops, etc,)--------the individual stores within the mall have false facades with a unified architectural theme. In the case of Tlaquepaque, the theme is that of a Mexican village. Tlaquepaque is unmistakeably phony, yet at the same time it's somehow also undeniably charming. The place was cleverly... more

I thought the physical setting was just beautiful. The sycamore trees are exceptional, the gardens/fountains/flowers baskets/lighting and Mexican theme are wonderful. I liked the layout with the different courtyards, connecting halls/passageways. The little white lights on the trees, in the trees and other places gives a great touch. The art galleries are both numerous and interesting. I would have liked... more

We stopped by there on our way home. I agree with what the other reviewers said that it was just a shopping center with a Mexican facade. It was meant to look like a Mexican village, but it bordered on being too cute. Other than it being very difficult to park there, nothing in there really stood out. more

I loved this little shopping village. There is more shade than the downtown shopping area. The architecture is charming with cobblestone walkways and the courtyards are filled with beautiful plants and sculptures. I enjoyed lunch with a friend on the patio at Rene. They have a great selection of ice teas. We spent a nice afternoon wondering through the shops... more

Let me first state that I LOVE Mexican shopping villages, especially those found around San Diego. However, this place was so bland and absolutely nothing like others I've visited in the past. In my opinion, the village is simply a facade to attract prospective timeshare buyers into the 'compound.' After a mediocre, overpriced dinner at the Mexican restaurant, we walked... more

This is a beautiful place to stop and walk around. They are open late one night a month (first Friday). The shops are lovely and the grounds and artwork are definitely worth a look. more
