We've been up in helicopters and small, medium planes, cargo planes and float planes to see various sights in various places before, but this was the first biplane. WOW!! Two people take up the front (open cockpit) seat, while the pilot flies from the rear/second cockpit. You wear leather flying helmet (with built in ear-phones to hear the pilot's commentary),... Actually all started well: we wanted to visit the Grand Canyon and found their offer OK (Grand Canyon West-Signature Tour), so went to their office, told them what we want and made a reservation. On the scheduled day, went to the airport, paid for the trip and off we were in a small plane on our way to Grand Canyon... More

We went to the airport of Sedona just for the scenic view, and suddenly we saw an very special plane on the airport. It was a red biplane type World-War I (like the Red Baron). We start making photo's and saw..... it can be hired! We informed about it, and decided to do this once in a lifetime experience. It... More

This turned out to be the #1 experience on our Arizona vacation. Sedona Air Tours does a first class job all the way from the booking process through to the end of the tour. We reserved our spot about a month in advance and had good communication back and forth before arriving in Sedona. We were given all the instructions... More

We were taken from the beautiful red rock country of Sedona over to the Hualapai Reservation known as Grand Canyon West in an 8 seat airplane with 3 other people. You would think it to be cramped, but there was more leg room in the small plane than I had on the jet ride to Arizona. The pilot was primarily... More

I'm afraid of heights. I also get airsick/altitude sickness, so I was a bit apprehensive to go on a helicopter ride while in Sedona. However, I was talked into doing it (and sitting in the middle of the back seats helped). Now if you've never been in a helicopter, they are a bit loud/noisy. Wear the protective gear and be... More

I can't wait to come back to Sedona Air Tours. This was my time ever being in a helicopter. What an amazing experience. Seeing Sedona from a helicopter was beautiful. I took the 30 minute tour and it was worth every penny!

We got a $69 20-minute special, as advertised outside the office in uptown Sedona on the main drag. The brochure I have says "Sedona Airtours" and "Sky Safari Air Charter." We drove to the airport, just ouside of town, to meet up with the helicopter. For this trip they wanted a minimum of 3 people, so keep that in mind... More

This has been one of my dreams and I finally accomplished it! Scott gave us a wonderful tour of Sedona in a biplane. We took the 45 minute tour which was breath taking and entertaining at the same time. Skip the helicopter and the hot air ballon! It is well worth it!

My husband and I did a 30 minute biplane ride over Sedona. It was amazing! My husband just got his pilots license so he was thrilled. The plane holds 3 people, the pilot and 2 riders. There is a weight limit, so call and check. I think it was a combined total of 350lbs for the 2 riders. It was... More
