My husband and I just got back from a weekend in Sedona. We did the 1 hour trail ride followed by the cowboy cookout dinner. The ride was beautiful, the horses very well trained and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. :) Our cookout was delicious, the steak was cooked perfect!!! Yum! The singing was wonderful and it really... More

The welcoming of the all team was great, not to much talking but sincere, what we do prefer. Very professional and so typical for French: real cow boys in a real ranch! a dream! Thanks a lot

We started out our Sedona trip at the M Diamond Ranch. It ended up being our favorite activity of our week long vacation. We were treated like family as Jim picked us up at our hotel and told us all about the rocks and local favorite restaurants. We loved all of the staff and horses! We did the Cowboy Brunch... More

I signed up for the one hour trail after reading the reviews of the various options for horseback riding in Sedona. I was the only rider that morning, so I had a nice experience riding with my cowboy guide on the trail. I'm glad I selected M DIamond as everyone was very nice and the operation was well run. I... We loved the folks at the ranch - they were extremely friendly. The price paid was very reasonable and totally worth it. The only bummer is when you aren't a regular rider you're stuck walking the horses in a tight line. There's nothing the ranch could do to change this I guess - but just know what to expect when... Thanks for your review! We try to be clear here on Trip Advisor and on our web site about our location and that our rides are in-line at a walk. Please know that this is for rider safety and insurance requirements. More

The M Diamond Ranch is a well managed ranch and I would recommend anyone taking this tour, allow the company to pick you up as the ranch is be difficult to find on your own. The horses are well trained and were an easy ride. There were two Cowboys, one the led the pack and one that trailed the to... More

We are so pleased that you enjoyed the ranch, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Many guests say the ride in the van to the ranch is like a mini-tour, and of course we do try to keep our rides small in number so our wranglers can tell you about the ranch, wildlife etc. Hope... My wife and I decided to go horseback riding while on vacation in Sedona. I hadn't been on a horse in a number of years, so I was very excited to do so. The people there were all so incredibly nice, especially our guide,(I believe his name was Alan). We were in a small party with a family of 6.... More

While in Sedona, we went on many excursions (balloon rides, jeep rides, etc) and our boys claimed that this was the highlight of their trip. We fell in love with their horses (Spot, Bonnie, Colorado, Zeek and Cinnamon). Everyone there was fantastic from the driver, to the horse handlers, to our wonderful cook, and Alvie, the Singer. The dinner was... More

Our family just returned from AZ April 2012. We went on the dinner ride at the M Diamond ranch. Our 3 children report the horseback ride as their favorite part of our entire trip. Our youngest is 7 years old and small for her age. Her horse was very gentle and well behaved as were all the horses. Since we... More

It's always nice to hear that we were the favorite part of a vacation! Roundtrip van transportation is provided from Sedona hotels, but many folks do choose to drive to the ranch. We are 7 miles from Interstate-17 and the last 4 miles are gravel. There are no street lights in a lot of the Sedona/Verde Valley area because of... More
