I was impressed with this museum. It is definetly more history than your typical tourist will want to take in. But if you have an interest in history, print media, communication, pop culture, or Tombstone itself you will want to check it out. We were in Tombstone recently, which just happened to be the day of the anniversary of the famous O. K. Corral gunfight between the Earps and the cowboys. The Tombstone Epitaph newspaper museum is behind the Crystal Palace Saloon. It is FREE! You can read original Epitaph reports of the famous October 26, 1881 Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. The Tombstone Epitaph is located off the main drag on Allen. There was printing machinery, presses and an enlarged copy of the paper the day after the OK Corral. If you purchase an Adventure Pass at the OK Corral, it includes a free copy (reprint) of the Epitaph from 1881. Free admission. more

This small exhibition on a side street off Allen Street is free but of little interest. Original printing presses and newspaper cuttings reporting on Tombstone's famous gunfights, sit alongside typical Tombstone tourist tack. more
