I had a fantastic hike with Pedro and Isarias. While extremely challenging, the hike provided beautiful views and a great sense of accomplishment. Pedro and Isarias are unbelievably knowledgeable about their surroundings. During the hike, they will point out interesting plants, views, and regale you with tidbits and trivia about the Guatemalan people and their history. It certainly makes the... More

I went on the hike of Pico de Cielo with Pedro and Isarias a few weeks ago and it will be an experience I will never forget! While the hike up the volcano was vigorous and challenging, it was made all the better with the help and guidance of these two men. Each were very knowledgable about the history, culture,... More

Pedro and his talented staff provided a lifetime of memories for me and my family during our one-week trip to Guatemala. The most important thing about this team is their depth of breadth and knowledge that only a local can provide. The team has perfect English and can provide entrée into local homes, which is normally inaccessible to tourists. These... More

Pedro and Domingo were our wonderful guides as six women over age 50 attempted to climb up the side of one of the smaller volcanoes that surrounds Lake Atitlan. They were patient, knowledgeable and very polite. Pedro pointed out different species of birds indigenous to the area as well as coffee and other trees and fauna. They also helped us... More

Pedro, Domingo and Juan Diego took me, my family and friends on several tours and adventures. I was impressed by their organization and knowledge and enjoyed their warmth and sincerity. From cultural tours to mountain bike rides to hikes - we covered it all and I wouldn't have seen the things I saw if it had not been for going... More

I organized three tours with Tours Atitlan this past month and each one was wonderful. The first was a hike to Pico de Cielo for the yoga group I took to Villa Sumaya. Isaias and Domingo were awesome. They were joyful, spoke perfect English, were knowledgeable on many of the plants and animals along the way, took us into the... More

Before time passes, I want to commend you and your company for a super job with the "group" I recently brought to Guatemala. Every arrangement we had made was executed to perfection. All the travel arrangements, the lake tour and the trip to Chichi were performed 100%. Thank you. As for the "family" arrangements that followed the "group" experience, again... More

I have a house at the edge of Santa Cruz la Laguna, so I come to Lake Atitlán fairly often.  I came down with my two sisters in early February, and we hired Isais and Domingo to walk with us from my house to San Marcos on a tour.  It was one of the best things I\'ve done in my... More
