Nearly three dozen warbirds and classic aircraft are on display including the Lockheed C-121A Constellation which was General Douglas MacArthur's personal VIP transport. I'm not a big fan of airplane museums, but I enjoyed a stop here and also enjoyed the antique car display next door. If you're just rushing to and from the Grand Canyon, I'm sure you won't have time to stop here, but if you have a young boy with you, (or an old boy who's still obsessed with planes)... more

While certainly not the best air museum I've visited it does have some rare aeroplanes on display. Highlights, for me, included a Grumman Duck and a WW1 Bristol Fighter - neither of which I'd seen before. Outside there were several aircraft from the dawn of the jet age including a Mig 15, a Lockheed Shooting Star and a dilapidated DeHaviland... more
