I was very disappointed in this quant little book store. The lady was rude and I will not ever go back.

If you visit Eureka Springs are are having a wonderful day, do not spoil it and stop in at Gazebo Books. Just walk on by. The woman watching the store, claimed to be the sister of the owner, walked around without shoes and obviously did NOT want people in the store. My adult son was jotting down a title of... More

I have to agree with the majority of the posters here -- the lady who runs this bookstore is the rudest women that I have ever run across in Eureka Springs. I have no idea why in the world she ever went into any business where she has any contact with people.

When we approached the store, the note on the door said in a friendly manner that the owner had "gone to the post" and would be "back in a flash". As we were turning to go to another store, she came down the street back towards the shop and said, "I'm sorry, I had to put some packages in the... More

I wish I had read other reviews before going to this store. It would have saved me the time I'll never get back. A woman identified as the owner's sister is trying to kill the business...and doing a great job at it. Honestly, the woman needs therapy.

The first time we tried to go the store was closed (in the middle of the day) and the second time it was finally opening (40 minutes after posted opening time). This bookstore is small, cramped and overcrowded with stock. Books are in no order at all and it is difficult to find anything. Most of the books are similar... More

My family and I visited this store today. My husband is an avid book collector and was interested to see what this store had to offer. When we were in the store my daughter and I discovered books that she really enjoys. I was picking out two books to purchase when this woman came storming at me and started scolding... More

Totally unprovoked, this store owner came raging out of her shop, yelling at my daughter. We were on motorcycles, but doing nothing out of the ordinary. We had been shopping. This community markets itself as being biker friendly. This woman is yelling about "you people", "i have had to listen to YOU PEOPLE for 10 years and I am sick... More

This is a great little book store in Eureka Springs. She has a wonderful selection of books.....she has books that you wouldn't be able to find at your cookie-cutter stores like Barnes and Noble or Borders....blah. Pay her a visit!
