The most fascinating attraction in Halden (Halden is a very special, exquisite and spectacular town in Østfold, close to the Swedish/Norwegian border) is Fredriksten castle+museum (called "Fredriksten Festning"). If you are interest in war/weaopn displays, then buy a ticket and go indoor. But if you are interest in outdoor adventure, it's free of charge, just take one of the many... more
