Getares is a very nice place. The sand is good. It's clean there.
There is a cool view of Gibraltar.
Also it's easy to get there and spend even the whole day because there are many good cafes and restaurants around, you can find anything you need. Food is fine. We had a lunch in one restaurant there, and liked...

Great beach, and the restaurants since they have been remodelled are great value for. Money especially at lunch times

stayed in algeciras and found this beach,its gorgeous not too busy with views across the bay to gibraltar hire the most comfortable sunbeds with sunshades for 7 euro,s per day,have lunch or just a drink at olas bar on the beachfront,good service great beer! will definately come here again.
