The video in the visitor center is well made to let people understand how these megalithic monuments were built. One of them is probably the biggest in Europe, it is possible to visit the inside of it and it is absolutely impressive. The outside park with its modern development is probably a bit too "out there" for most of us...

We thought there was lots to see and do in Antequera and the ancient remains were well worth the trip. A little too far to walk to from the town..

A very interesting monument, it´s more than 6000 years old, worth visiting. It was a burial place, but the only trace you´ll see is a human bone at a very discreet place. I was wondering how they transported the heavy rocks to that spot, 6000 years ago. Our advice, watch the videofilm first at the reception before entering the dolmen....
