As a beach to walk on, it is lovely and wide and flat, but when there are lots of kitesurfers it gets a little nerve-racking!

Having flown in to Gibraltar to visit family, we decided to take our 16 month old daughter for a day trip to the beach.

New bird watching hides across the tidal lagoon and fields are slowly adding to the richness of this bird migration gem.
