Ever get bored walking through a museum? You've seen one, you've seen them all. Same old stuff. Statues, oils, columns and marble floors in room, after room, after room. If that's your feeling, then this museum may just be the ticket, cause you won't get bored in this one! If you like Salvador Dali, or loathe him, this museum jars... more

If you are on a trip through Costa Brava and wondering where you should spend your time, I would put this museum on the lower half of your list. The line to enter is about 1 hour and this will be the case regardless of what time you get on line - according to a restaurant manager in front of... more

One of the best museums I ever went to was in this quaint and wonderful town of Figueres in Spain. The museum is seen as the star attraction there but for good reason; when one is on their way to the museum, you see huge eggs floating in the sky. Typical Dali decoration no doubt. Inside lies his tomb as... more

If you're already in the area, have a hour or two to kill, and don't approach it with high expectations, this is worth a visit. If you are expecting a good collection of Dali's work, on the other hand, you are going to be sadly disappointed. There are 5 or 6 interesting works in here, but the rest of this... more

I totally agree with the previous reviews in this topic. The inside and the outside of this museum is very interesting. You need at least 2 or 3 hours for looking it. Unfortunately we got an hour and it was a few time. You can see many interesting things: paintings, statues, drawings, jewellery, stb. In the museum you can take... more

I hosted my university 45th class year reunion in Elne, Northern Catalonia (France). Our golfers played for a trophy at the Perelada Golf Club in Southern Catalonia (Spain), so I took the non-players to the Dali Museum in nearby Figueres. All found it a wonderful and all-consuming experience. You don't have to be an overt Dali afficionado to appreciate and... more

We had lots of fun visiting Dali Museum in Figueres. Nice building with lots of eggs decorating the walls. Inside you find a lot of the better known dali works and some unique things to see. We recommend spending the money for the audio guide. It will be a much more intense experience. Unfortunately when we were there it was... more

This is an unforgettable and wonderful museum, even if you think you are not a Dali fan. Individually, the paintings you have seen may not have appealed, but to be totally immersed in this museum, designed by Dali and crammed full of his art from ceiling frescoes to doorways with corncob hair, is to be totally surrounded by his ideas... more

If you are in holydays at the Costa Brava and you want to try an organised tour with bus to the Dali´s museum and Gala´s castle, then thing again! The only one company that make this tour sales tickets in many agencies along the coast. We buyed 2 tickets in Tossa de Mar at the Tramontana Viajes agency : -first,... more

We visited the museum in June 2003 on our honeymoon, as my husband is a huge Dali fan. We tried to visit the 3 Dali sites in one day and found that the Figures museum could/should have taken more than 1/2 a day. It is a very large place with hundreds of displays. We expected more of his well-known works... more
