It's not often my husband says somewhere is good value for money but he was still raving about Tantallon days after we returned from holiday.
This is a great place to experience an old Scottish castle perched on the cliffs. Pleasant and helpful staff and wonderful views! Loos are also nice and clean!
We had friends from Aus with us and they enjoyed the Castle. The grounds where very clean and well kept. A very nice expierience

The views from the castle are unbelievable.
There are water views on three sides, and the North Berwick Law on the back side.

Great views great castle a real classic, a fantastic bit of Scottish history
This is a really atmospheric place. Standing proud on the cliff overlooking the Firth of Forth, you are transported back to a time in history where you could be that soldier standing guard on the ramparts. The wind is blowing in your face, the gulls wheeling about your head, it's wild and windy - this is not for the faint-hearted....

Having been brought up in nearby North Berwick, I used to be a frequent visitor many years ago.
It was always good, but it is much improved. Was very clean and the attention to detail in the grounds was very impressive. The staff were fantastic-always someone nearby and bringing the castle alive. My kids (8 / 6 yrs) just loved...

A once mighty stronghold, now a mighty ruin with some mighty views.
This is well worth a visit if you are near North Berwick. Its setting is magnificent and although there isn't so much left of the castle there is still more than enough to see especially from the tops of the castle walls which are open to the public....
