Based on the reviews on this website we visited this small pub one evening. The pub is welcoming and cosy, with a roaring log fire which was appreciated on a cold December evening. That's about all I can that's positive. Firstly, when asking for a table for 4 we were told they 'could fit us in'. We were the only...

I don't know if the reviewers raving about the food here were lucky, or my wife and I were unlucky. Either way the meal we had was very poor - too much was microwaved, frozen and not home made - way over-priced. The waitress told another table that the crabcakes were 'made by the chef', as if that was something...

The local ales were also great and really well...

Friendly locals pub with local food. Great selection of ales and the food was great value for money. Nice to find a good non Rick Stein branded premises in Padstow!
Excellent, friendly service and food which I can definitely recommend. I chose the swordfish steak cooked in butter, lemon and mint from the 'Specials' board and it was wonderful!
We had a wonderful evening at The London Inn last night and have to say how impressed we were with both the attentive service (our waitress was superb) and the delcious and clearly home cooked food. The Tiger prawns were amazing! And as for the chocolate pudding - talk about light and fluffy!! This wonderful little pub has a warm...

We met up with friends who we'd not seen for twenty years.Needed an eatery which wouldn't rush us, or mind some raucous laughter. With no prior research, walked into The London Inn- empty, cosy little dining room and a table for six all set.PERFECT! They greeted us warmly and were happy to wait for us to chat over drinks before...
