Paddy and Chris are knowledgable, amiable and run a great, safe walk suitable for all the family against the fabulous scenic backdrop of Lyme Regis. They also have a wonderful cave-shop (underneath Alice's Teddy Bear Shop - also highly recommended!) where they identify, prepare and sell (very reasonable) fossils. What's not to like?

My grandson and I spent an enjoyable time looking at the fossils on display and talking to Paddy and Chris. They both are very knowledgable about fossils. If you have the time it is worth going on one of their fossil finding walks. Had a great time and look forward to the next visit

Following a guided fossil walk by Paddy which was excellent, we took one of our fossil finds to the workshop where Paddy spent 30 minutes cleaning it up and transforming it into something really worthy of display - such a great guy and so knowledgeable & enthusiastic. We would thoroughly recommend the guided fossil walk booked through the Philpot Museum.
