Second visit to the Forbidden Corner with grandchildren. Love it because it doesn't pull any punches . From the loos outside to the moment you leave you have been subjected to extreme fun. Some scary bits...the kids will love it. Pity it rained on our visit....it added extreme wet to our extreme fun. Never mind, it was a big favourite... More

We visited with our little boy, It was a good day out with lots to see and do. The cafe was reasonably priced and the food was pretty good. The only drawback is that we had to take our son round in his pushchair, this was a problem for some of the small passages and we missed bits as we... More

The wife and I had the pleasure of exploring this magical place today.....we had such a great time! There is so much packed into the area, it took us over two hours to explore it and we still didn't find all the things mentioned in the guide leaflet. With kids i can imagine this is a full day out, and... More

We took are 9 month old but used her sling to carry her a pram would have meant we would have missed a lot of the tunnels n under ground things. I think a map of the site would be a good idea as u are not sure if u missed anything but I guess that's all part of the... More

I was just looking for Forbidden Corner online so that I could send a link to a friend. When I had a look at this page and the reviews below I felt I had to add my own, because I disagree so strongly with Tony M below. Although from my point of view he can say what he wants about... More

Such a good day out - you must book in advance. Unique, fun and its a real must - great for all the family - no good for buggies though.

Started in the 'Corner Cafe' I thought I'd try the Double Devil Burger which consisted of 2 cheap frozen beef burgers, a piece of lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and 2 pieces of onion on a ciabatta bun with a handful of frozen french fries, the only thing that was devilish about it was that it cost me £6.50. Followed... More

Dear Tony Thanks for taking the time to do a review although not to insult you i feel it was not that constructive at all. I would disagree about the burgers as they are not "cheap" we source them from Wilsons of crossgates in Leeds which are an award winning butchers rather than other venues that might buy mass market... Loved it. Really well done, and so much to see. However our 5 year old girl found the underground parts a bit scary. Sure boys or slightly older kids will live it. Good for adults too ;)

I returned to the Forbidden Corner for the third time today, and I have to say it captures my imagination every time. Wonderful place, lots of hidden treasures and suprises. My only concern is that after THREE trips, I cannot find that dog! Does it really exist? Is it another magical trick? Judging by the guest book on the way... More

We took our granddaughter (4) for a visit having be told to make sure we go.Things got off to a poor start when entering the first "attraction" which to older children is amazing but for a young one it was a little scary and did not really improve having to carry her nearly all the way round. This is a... More
