I've been fortunate to go out with several whale and dolphin watching operators in the UK - Hebridean Whale Cruises is one of the best. Traditionally Mull has always been considered the best place in Britain for boat-based minke whale watching but for me Gairloch and the Minch surpasses it. “Great fun, may have been better in the sunshine”

We went on a 2 hour trip in the Orca 1; unfortunately it was very windy and raining for some of the trip, but this didn't stop it being great fun. Very enjoyable and educational trip for all ages, We went out on the RIB. During the trip we had Minke Whales swimming near and under the rib.
