Really enjoyed meeting Rehan and the team. They were receptive once we explained our level of comfort and experience and were very accommodating. Remember to be open about your experience and no need to feel pressured. Some beautiful diving, very friendly people. The types of guys you wanna split a kava and beer with after a session!

We dove with Aquamarine in 2011 and had a really fantastic experience. Rehan took great care of our group and provided outstanding divemasters that kept close tabs on everybody while in the water. Most of us had our own gear, but some of it was left behind in Port Villa (small airplane). Aquamarine provided gear to everyone who was lacking... More

I was very nervous after reading these reviews after I booked with Aquamarine. Luckily shortly after arriving for my honeymoon I realised that the reviews I read were either over hyped, or didn't reflect on the true circumstance. After meeting Rehan the manager, I was pleasantly reassured. My partner and I are both technical divers and we went with four... More

The dive centre has been moved from their original location and has moved to an adjacent small reception building with little facilities including no showers nor toilets. The staff are keeping the business running at the moment. It is dying a slow death.

I did 10 dives over 5 days with Aquamarine in October of 2011. Manager Rehan asked me to wire fees in advance to his Australian bank, but I sent too much as they were unable to fulfill the Wreck Certification class that I signed up for on the website (their excuse was lack of instructors). He said he would wire... More

We visited Aquamarine and booked two dives for the following day. They had us fill out paperwork, give them our sizes for rental gear, and told us they would pick us up at our hotel at 8:30. The next morning they called at 7:55 to tell us they couldn't take us - they were full. They suggested we wander around... More

My husband dives and had been with Aquamarine a few years ago and assumed it would be the same now so booked 8 dives with them before leaving NZ. Daughter and I met him on his "lunchbreak" each day and there were always tales to tell of shoddy undertakings by this very "cowboyish" organisation. From wornout gear, no buddy/gear checks,emergency... More

2,000 vatu to hire a snorkel set, with a 5,000 vatu deposit needed, and one of the snorkel sets they lent us was broken! The mask only had one part of the strap attached, there was nothing to clip the snorkel to, and one of the snorkels was a dive snorkel when we asked for a normal snorkel so it... More

I saw so many incidents that worried me I have written to PADI, SDI-TDI and SSI. Out of air ascents during deco dives were common, as were empty stage bottles and torches that didn't work. It is only a matter of time before these guys kill someone. The diving was spectacular, but I would go with one of the other... More
