I never imagined how much fun would have! I was on a cruise 2 weeks ago and honestly was not expecting to enjoy it that much. I had the Costa Maya Beach Break and it was so great!!! Our waiter Pablito was so nice to us, the opne bar was so good, we enjoy all the nice drinks, we will... More

My husband and I have visited several of the beach clubs on the "strip" and this one was one of our favorites. Sergio greeted us right away, got us a beer (sol), showed us around, and offered us our choice of seats. At the time the umbrella seats were already taken, but, without us even asking, as soon as one... More

We are very experienced cruisers/travelers. We were approached by a rep claiming there were cabanas and white sand beach, all you can drink and "paradise". We paid $90.00 for two adults and 4 children. Adults get all you can drink, children get pop. We paid for our own cab and arrived to a dilapitated building. We got wristbands and were led... More

We felt the high pressure to buy the beverage package which then we felt locked into staying at their beach. The snorkeling we were told we would have 55 min. in water and we were pulled out after 25 minutes with no real explanation although there was some big waves. But I'm new to snorkeling and was managing fine; yet... More

Pathetic place: no free food, drinks were watered down (except for the beer), cut off at 3pm though not advised of this, constantly hassled on the beach by peddlers, the beach water area itself is far from being a nice place, the chairs at the table were simple straight-back plastic things (very few lounge chairs available) Only positives: the beer... Thank you for your criticism! No one in Costa Maya gives food for free, some beach clubs, sell packages with meals included, this is not our case. our beach packages include open bar and facilities. In fact our open bar ends at 3 pm. because cruise ships leave the harbor between 3 and 5 pm and for your safety and... More

Advance reservation request was sent and reply received from Tequila Beach Club stating they could accomodate party of 13. On arrival they had one snorkel boat with a maximum capacity of 10. A second boat is brought in...."day cruiser" .....with seating for 2 on which they crowded 9 people. On arrival at the snorkel site the captain's mate did not... More

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this place but we just returned from a cruise and we really enjoyed our day at Tequila Beach in Costa Maya. We just wanted to chill on the beach somewhere so when we got off the ship we were greeted by a rep from Tequila Beach. We were offered... More

We went to Tequila beach club on December 15, 2010. As we got off the ship, we met a representative from Tequila beach who showed us their pamphlet and explained all the things we could do on their beach. Also, he offered a package for all you can eat and drink for 45$ per person. He then offered it at... More

We fell for the hard sell as we got off the Ship. When the bus pulled up to building all of our smiles disappeared. As the other reviewers said the Beach was terrible and the accommodations were pathetic. We rented Jet Skis and the Parasail and found that we were overcharged on our credit card when we got home. We... More

Thank you for your criticism. above all we ask an apology for the Overcharged your credit card, I have understood that the problem has been solved. On the other hand, unfortunately at times when you arrived, were building a new restaurant next to our club. in what I can not agree and I think a biased criticism is that the... More
