I grew up near Petit Jean State Park and never appreciated the park for what it was. Now that I am older, I see how beautiful the park is, how much there is to do there, and just getting an opportunity to enjoy God's creation.

Everything, get a cabin,camp out,listen to the quite and lovely sounds of birds,crickets,even the breeze. No planes in sight or sound.

Good photo opportunities. Petit Jean and Mt. Magazine are close enough together that they should both be visited if you are viewing fall foliage. Petit Jean has cabins for rent, as well as a first class lodge. Great place to overnight for fall foliage.

I love Mt. Petit Jean. Beautiful walks and hikes, gorgeous views, plenty to do, and very spiritual.

The Majestic waterfall , blue hole, the nature trials, the wldlife , seven hollows and the scenics. Untainted beauty well preserved and certainly well maintained. Camping (tent/tee pee), fishing, canoeing, bird watching, photography, pet zoo, antique auto museum and trial rides are popular...

The drive to the mountain is beautiful and you can't help but appreciate mother nature when you see where you're headed!! Love the car museum as welll!!!

Leave your cell phone home- no signal found here! Just relax, chill out and barbecue a steak. Lots of hiking and neat things to see. Wonderful views of the Arkansas river from the Petit Jean grave site.
