The hike through Petra is continuously interesting and actually offers some shady relief at times due to the high rocks around the walking paths. There are many fascinating pieces of history to enjoy as well as the natural beauty of the area. There are adequate tourist facilities on site. more

Petra is an amazing, once in a lifetime must-see site. The entry price is not too bad, but as you really need three days to even scatch the surface it does tot up. I hunted extensively for information on this trip before my visit to Taba and found it hard to find, so here is some info that you may find useful: Do not use the Thomson/First Choice/ Thomas Cook trips.
