Local wildlife for Kids to look at and become aquanted with. Very fun for a family picnic.

CALM is a animal rescue zoo and it's full of desert, mountain and valley critters! You can see bald eagles, bobcats, kitfoxes, reptiles, and even a black bear! What a wonderful place to visit. If you are an animal person please come and visit CALM. It's a great educational place to visit to learn about our native animals. A wonderful place.

The Christmas light displays were wonderful. The music added to the experience. What a great place to take a 'winter wonderland' walk. We loved how the 'snow' was triggered to fall when we walked one of the pathways. Get there early, it gets crowded.....still worth it.

Privately-funded and attempting to provide education to school tour groups and general public, all commendable. However, the herpetology (reptiles) facility stank, very small cases, and the spaces outdoors for the hawks and eagles were way too small.

Several animals native to the area can be viewed in this smal zoo. They also provide a beautiful display of Chrisstmas lights in season.

In December there is the evening light show and train ride through the grounds, hot chocolate and snacks available for purchase. Super for a family night out or a romantic stroll with a friend!
