If you like roller coasters, go here. If you like mild/low roller coasters I would reccomend Disneyland. This was a very fun park for my teen, who went on many of the rides and thouroughly enjoyed them.

My kids love Knotts. Never have to wait in a long line, easy parking, very friendly staff. So much easier than going to Disneyland and less expensive. Better for older kids who have already "done" the Disney thing. I can't stand having to wait an hour for a 1 minute ride - that never happens at Knotts.

We go to Disneyland a couple times a year, but when we want a quick amusement park fix with less crowds and less cost, we go to Knott's Berry Farm. Knott's is a great park. The food is wonderful unlike a lot of theme parks and the staff is awesome. I love to wander around and shop or people watch. Good day out in April. Fast rides, good choices. Better than Disney for older children. Friendly staff. Didn't really eat out here. Glad the prices are cheaper than Disney!

Our 5 and 2 year-olds had a great time at Knott's Berry Farm. There are tons of rides with a great mix for young and old alike. It's no Disneyland, but it is cheaper. We had fun!
