Tour lasted about 3 hours. Starts with a movie discussing the background of Warner brothers history, how they were founded, how they became a dominant studio in TV and movies...etc...etc. Took a tram ride through the studio. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a bit expensive ($45 each + $7 parking), but well worth it, especially since we hadn't done a studio tour before. I actually felt like I learned quite a bit about the movie/tv- making process. Our guide was informative and told some good stories that provided insight into the studios.... more

This tour is similar to the VIP tour but is a 5-hr tour which includes a wonderful lunch in the studio's fine-dining restaurant and a photo of yourself to take home. I'll not repeat all that's been said about this tour. Suffice to say that it was the highlight of our time in Hollywood. Our teens love American sitcoms and our tour guide really tried to accommodate that. This was one of the highlights from my trip to Los Angeles. The $45 admission price for the VIP Tour was well worth it. Our tour lasted two hours, and was very informative and entertaining. We had a great time during the two hour VIP tour. Learned a lot about film making, saw working sound stages, the sets of the coffee shop used in Friends and a museum filled with props and costumes worn by actors in famous movies. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. more
