While the ocean water was initially cool feeling, it didn't take long to be comfortable while actively surfing or using a boogie board. Lots of sand and space for laying out in the warm sun, with a beautiful cool breeze keeping it comfortable. Bring your own drinks and snacks, along with umbrellas and chairs, as we didn't find any beach... more

This Beach was the perfect one for my 4 year old Grandaughter who had never played on the Beach before - we live in Tucson AZ. There are waves but nothing bad - we didn't go in too far. We drove to Beach via Tamarack Road and then turned right onto the Beach rode and then went up the hill... more

My family camps here once a year, usually in September once all the kids have gone back to school. It is always crowded, get your reservations early, usually about 6 months in advance. Though I hear that there tends to be a few cancellations, so it never hurts to ask if there are any open spots if your in the... more
