This little house ties with Taliesin West as my favorite home tour. First, because it was a treat for the eyes: a lovely little cottage with redwood interiors, cozy rooms and spectacular views of the rocky Pacific coast. Like many California writers, Robinson Jeffers was a creature of his environment. As a result, the best way to understand his poetry is to visit the source of much of his inspiration Tor House and Carmel.
