During busy lunch hour, staff had terrible time keeping track of people next in line to be seated. Sent us to bar to get drinks and told us they did not need to take our name and then proceeded to keep sitting people in front of us despite our continued reminders that we were waiting - then told us we... more

Great bar in Carmel for a drink and small bite. The oysters are always fresh, the "rose" clam chowder delicious. The owners, Michael and Michelle really know how to take care of their customers, very attentive and friendly service. more

The oysters and bloody mary's here were great! Being from Texas we can't get oysters in the summer. AW Shucks' oysters were amazingly fresh, but they are a bit pricier that what I'm used to paying...that's what you get when you're on vacation though, right? Great place for on-ice seafood. The staff was great, the drinks are good. The wine selection is great. This place was one of those we stopped in every day we were there. They had great oysters for a reasonable price. The owner was there, checking on folks' meals and satisfaction, bartender (girl with long black hair) was AWESOME. Oh! And... more
