Go to Hotel Del during off times and sit on the huge patio (during the week is the best to avoid crowds). They sometimes have a band (local type) also playing a good selection. Go into the village itself and check out some of the good restaurants and bars. Miguels is a great place for a margarita and dinner.

We love taking guests to Coronado. Great beaches, great shopping. We always have a great time!

We loved our day on Coronado island. The restaurants are upmarket and sophisticated.

We spent 2 days on the beach behind Hotel Del Coronado and it was the best days we spent. Absolutely stunning beach and views of the ocean. There is a shopping center on the "San Diego" side of the island which is also nice to walk through.

The ferry to Coronado leaves from the waterfront close to the information booth on a regular schedule. The price is under $10 for the return trip. There were live bands and people dancing by the ferry landing. Nice place to do some souvenir shopping and go for lunch, lots of restaurants and food stands.

But, I enjoyed the area where the ships landed and also walked from one side to the other on Orange Street, lots of shops and restaurants and ends at the Hotel. It was awesome to go see a place that holds a place in cinematic history. Beach on the west side was GORGEOUS!

You can stroll around the island, spot dolphins, plenty of shops and restaurants.

Very nice little town with great shops and quick access to beach.
