This place is such a treasure. I love the 1920's and 1930's buildings. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, you can easily spend a whole day relaxing on site. I had a reflexology service that was totally amazing and my husband had Deep Tissue that he said was one of best he had. The food was very good in the restaurant.... More

Spent the day here with a friend. Some things I would have changed but the good outweighed the bad. Greeted at the gate with a smile and map of property.Checked in at the spa and paid. They were very efficient. Asked for a locker. They gave us each a key but made a point to mention that they were only... More

I had made a reservation for my husband and our mothers for our first-time visit to the natural hot springs at Two Bunch Palms. We could only be there for a few hours, but thought the "mineral litheum" waters would be well worth the cost ($60 per person). Over the phone, the staff was very courteous; they gave us a... More

The check-in staff was rude and made me wait hours for my room. I walked away in disgust and all the staff could say to me was "we will still bill you." There was never an attempt to please. It was all about the money. I am so happy that we ended our trip early and drove home. Another couple... More

I could write an article about this place -- visiting it after flying back to the U. S. from Costa Rica -- driving out from L. A. and finally getting there for a massage and swim in the pool outdoors -- I know two men in the pool were Hollywood types -- and that was fun too.

I LOVE this place. I haven't been able to go since they don't allow children and I just had one. I miss it. I'd go often over the last 20 years. I love the grotto, dinning room and pond full of ducks and turtles. The last time I went we stayed in a casita with a private spa. It's romantic,... More

This is a small discrete restaurant in a great setting. If you have time spend a few nights on the property and enjoy a massage.

Never have done the spa thing there, but a great favorite for our "special occasion" dinners. You need to make reservations in advance or you won't get past the gated entry. After all this was reputed to be Al Capone's desert hangout, so just anyone can't get in!

Have been coming for years and was shocked to discover what a dump this resort had become in every sense of the word. Our room was dark & dingy, the resort restaurant food inedible and the management very agressive, rude and utterly unhelpful. Best to strike this resort off your list. Even if they offered a free stay we would... More

This place used to be a favorite of mine. I've been going there for 10 years and enjoyed it very much. Now, however, it is in foreclosure and the service, food, and experience is terrible. The bank has hired someone to run the place and as often happens in this situation they have lost many of their good staff and... More
