I found this course to be quite a little challenge, especially some of the back nine. I'm an 11 handicap so it needs to be a little challenge if I'm ever to get better.

We played 7 different courses in the San Diego area over 7 days and this was by far our favorite course. Handicaps in our group ranged from 2 to 16 and all felt this was the most enjoyable course we played. No, it is not a TPC or Torrey Pines, but it is a fair test of golf with outstanding...

Eagle Crest Golf Course in Escondido California has been under new ownership for the last year or so.....wow, what a difference! Although it does run through a subdivision, on most holes you do not notice or cannot see the homes. The surrounding views are spectacular and the weather is perfect most of the year.
