The colors jump off the walls and everywhere else at this terrific stop. Join a tour and check out how these little beans are actually made. Then stop in the shop out the way out and pickup several packages to take home. We had a great time. It's pretty close to Napa Valley and just north of San Francisco. more

We were passing through Fairfield and decided we should do this tour. Luckily we were going on a weekday and also got there right at 9:10 when the first tour of the day was starting. They give you a free hat (you must wear some kind of hat on the tour) and some free samples when the tour is done.... more

There is plenty of signage directing you to the Jelly Belly factory and plenty of parking in the lots, which is always a plus. The tours run every 15 minutes, but there was a huge line when I went on the weekend. It was worth the wait, though, because the inside of the lobby, which is between the cafe and... more

Free tour, Free hat, Free samples, lets go. The best time to tour is weekdays, the factory does not work on weekends and all you see are static candy making machines. After your tour get several bags of "Belly Flops" which are the misshaped candy. There is a restaurant which is overpriced. The tour is free. Make sure to Mapquest... more

Jelly Belly factory tour was great. My 12 and 15 year old were so excited. I thought the tour would be boring for them. The girls paid close attention, it was fascinating. Merchandising was fun, so much for the free tour and free jelly beans at the end. Wish I had bought more. Some things are hard if not impossible... more

I went on this tour with a couple of friends and we had a GREAT time! This tour was so much fun! Shows the whole process of making jelly bellies (and others candies made in their factory) and you also get free samples. The tour (as mentioned by others) is free and you also get a free hat. If your... more

Stop #1 on our honeymoon was the Jelly Belly factory tour. Like everyone posting on here, we had a blast, and heartily recommend it. First, we checked out the cafe/shop area. We didn't eat at the cafe, but were sure to make good use of the free sample bar. You simply ask for a flavor to try, and the "bartender"... more

I loved the Jelly Belly factory! You get some history on candy-making and the beginning of the jelly bean, as well as walk through the factory and see jelly bellies actually being made! And at the end, free bags of jelly belly beans, a free sample bar for jelly beans and other candies, and tons of jelly belly merchandise (including... more

We made the drive from San Francisco during the week to visit the Jelly Belly factory. We took the free tour, and I was very impressed to see that it was actually a real factory tour, not a "ride" like at Hershey. Just watching the people work and the belts and machines work made the kid in me smile. I'm... more

Based on recommendations elsewhere on this board, I chose to take the private tour when visiting the factory with my 15 year old son and 17 year old daughter. What a GREAT decision! The teenagers gave this two thumbs up. We were staying in South Lake Tahoe, so the tour meant 2 1/2 hours of driving for me each way... more
