Great wines, but expensive. The view is worth the trip, though. It looked just like Tuscany on the day we visited. Layers of hills in mist and shadow. I'll bet it is gorgeous on sunny day.

You simply cannot go wine tasting in Sonoma without visiting Gary Farrell. The tasting room has the best view of any winery in the County without a doubt. The wine speaks for itself and the hosts are so accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful large tasting room with wonderful ambiance and great views overlooking the valley. Staff were friendly and knowledgable about wine. We decided to share a glass for tasting and were pleasantly surprised that the pours were generous. Wonderful wines.

Delicious Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays coupled with a truly magical setting.

We had a marvelous experience when my boyfriend and I went up there. It is a drive to get to - but WELL WORTH IT! Our taster was amazing, knowledgable and even taught us two locals a few new tricks. Go there - you will not regret it!

Nice views from the top of the hill, but the tastings left me underwhelmed. Good pinots on the reserve list, but i wanted to taste more chards...there was only one. I would likely have bought some wine there, but the tasting fee was not waived with purchase. Not a good value in my view.
