We enjoyed our visit to the Ridge Vineyard. The wine was nice, but nothing special. The server was sweet and really nice, but there were not enough servers for the number of visitors. Service was a bit too slow. I would go back, but wasn't overly impressed.

Have been tasting at this winery since the 1980s before Ridge took over. Loved it back then but not sure Ridge is allowing the grapes to speak. Visited again during the Wine Road Barrel Tasting Event. Place was mobbed but was disappointed. The world famous Monte Bello (2011 Vintage) out of the barrel wasnot tasting well. We took the 90 minute tour and tasting and it was throughly enjoyable. Learning about the winery, vineyards, and building was educational and fun. The tasting was great as they served several good wines and had cheeses to go with them.

Wonderful winery on beautiful property. When winemakers from other countries visit Sonoma, they go here. Accepts wine road ticket for tasting fee. Had 6 wine samples, including the famous Monte Bello cab at $145 per bottle. Staff is friendly and knowledgable with no snobbery.
