Take the time to make an appointment for this wonderful winery. My husband and I combined the 11:00am tour with a special vertical tasting of reserve Cabernets, and we enjoyed our time with Joyce immensely. I heard about Michel-Schlumberger from a Bordeaux wino friend who repeatedly demanded that I visit this secluded winery in Dry Creek Valley. M-S Wineries is one of those that you need to make an appointment for in order to take the tour and do the tastings - tours are offered at 11am and 2pm. Despite the fact that you can't just pop-in this is definitely one of the wineries that's worth making the effort to see. The tour was probably the best... more

Grand home that resembles an early California mission (with belfry) turned into a winery. One of the best tours you will see in wine country as they cover all aspects of the wine making process.
