Cabins need to be remodel and they need to buy new sheets and towels, I hate hand me down towels

My husband and I spent one night here on our way south from Tahoe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the upstairs rooms overlooking the pond - lovely. Food was good, service very good, views wonderful.

The Double Eagle is a beautiful place and while it may not be cheap it's worth it. The rooms we stayed in were the ones overlooking the small pond. They had little balconies and were dog friendly. The overpriced pedicure doesn't come with a massage you have to pay more for that. So basically what you are paying for is a polish change. You are better off getting one before you come up or purchasing a massage.
