The tide pools are beautiful. I love that you can mix and mingle on the beach and park with people from all over the world. La Jolla Cove is absolutely gorgeous. It's a small pocket of beach surrounded by these beautiful cliffs. The water is crystal clear with stunning shades of blue and aqua. There are pelicans and sea birds everywhere. There is also a sea cave you can go through and see seals that often hang out on the rock cliffs through the cave.... more

Myself and my fiance went to La Jolla for a 2 night stay, this place is fantastic for a romantic getaway, loads of nice restaraunts & cafes, really nice beaches, cliff walks, seal cove, etc., There is loads to do during the day & at night.
