In May 2009, my wife and 3-year daughter and I visited La Jolla for 5 days. One afternoon our daughter was getting cranky so we went for a drive hoping she would fall asleep. We stopped on our way down from Torrey Pines Reserve, hoping to watch some gliding. No one was doing anything at all. Maybe it was a slow day. I'm glad we didn't make a special trip. more

We saw a sign for the glider port on our way to view Torrey Pines Golf Course. On the way back we thought why not stop for a quick look and we were so glad we did. It was awe-inspiring to see these people jump off the cliff with the waves crashing over the rocks with just a little parachute...if... more
