Laguna Beach has some beautiful spots, but some work needs to be done. There are a fair number of quality restaurants and galleries to visit. The more remote beaches are fairly nice, but crowded on summer weekends. The hotels are mostly average, overpriced, touristy. Main Street beach is just not worth visiting. There are too many dog feces and homeless... more

Laguna Beach has everything. Some of the best beaches on the west coast can be found here. There are many fabulous restaurants as well as art galleries. The drive along Pacific Coast Highway is one of my favorites. If only for a day, a visit to Laguna Beach should not be missed. more
