After visiting Napa, Sonoma (our favorite), Russian River, Dry Creek Valley, etc., we took a day to tour The Zins of Lodi. We're we ever pleased. The wine is wonderful and the prices are about half of what you,d find in Napa. Start your day with a tasting and a map at the visitors center. They are very knowledgeable and... More

A must stop when in Lodi, Ca. the Center features many if not most of the local Lodi appellation producers products. White or Red, sweet or dry you can find them and enjoy a tasting before pruchase at the center. Knowledgeable staff give the back story and history of the area in a very attractive tasting room/cellar.

If you come to Lodi and are short on time or just want a gathering point to meet up at and then branch out to the surrounding wineries, this is the perfect place to start at. They have a wide variety of wines from large wineries down to the boutique wineries, some of which don't have tasting rooms that are... More

If you like wine tasting, you are missing out if you only visit coastal wine regions and the Napa and Sonoma Valleys and don't come to District 11, the Lodi-Woodbridge grape growing region. As a commercial grape grower in this region I can tell you that we have some wonderful wines here. The Lodi Wine & Visitor Center has the... More

Lodi has over 50 wineries, many of which have no tasting rooms. Lodi Zinfandels are excellent. The Lodi Wine and VIsitor Center is the marketing hub for many of the Lodi wineries. The tasting room is always as wine tasting adventure and a way to get introduced to some of the Lodi wines, and, of course, purchase them. It is... More

So this is a great place to start. Grape and wine displays are nice and ample wine tasting room full of Lodi wines. Our host was great and introduced us to some new wines, and we have bee living here and drinking Lodi wines for a long time. Next store is Wine and Roses. Great restaurant there if too much... More

Large variety of vineyards represented and the tasting list changes every day. 5$ per person for 4 tastings each. Very friendly staff eager to help with the tastings and information on the area.

We stopped in here while in Lodi, and it was very informative. We got to sample some wines and were told more about the wines and wineries in the area. They charge a minimal fee, as do many other wineries, but this is a good starting point to get maps and advise. We had some great experiences at some of... More

If you want to taste a lot of different wines, they offer them, but so do a lot of the downtown Lodi wine spots. It looks and feels like a large Bev Mo'

Why charge for wine tasting? It was a disappointment when we stopped there with relatives visiting from Florida. And discouraged the visitors from buying any wine at this location...not friendly either!
