Almost all original "tour" is self-guided and you can go as fast or as slow as you want - so if you don't like small spaces you can speed through. Very worth the money!

We took our son and visited one afternoon along with seeing the Queen Mary. It's a fun four to six hour excusion (if you do both). The sub is pretty incredible if you've never seen one before. Truly amazing that men live and work on these things in such cramped quarters with so many gadgets and very little open space.

This was a fun tour to do. We had some time to kill and wanted to make sure we made the most of our time in Long Beach. The STEALTH portion of the STEALTH and WEALTH idea! Very interesting to see how the Soviets did it! Even my oldest daughter enjoyed it even though she had no intentions of going... More

You should like history but to see the technology and space with which the sailors (Russian) worked is fasinating.

The Scorpion gives one an idea what it is really like to be underwater and in a submarive. It isn't as highly informative and instructive as I would like, but I enjoyed the experience. It's a good place to go, once.

Well worth the ten dollars to visit, but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. They have done a nice job reserving this submarine and it is worth the time to experience this piece of cold war history.

We came to see the Queen Mary and added the sub tour. I was dubious about crawling inside the narrow cramped submarine. Its tight in spots but listening to the recordings in each section of the sub was a good distraction. Loved the uniform chart at the beginning of the tour showing insignia and clothing styles. Great opportunity for photographers... More

Interesting to see the inside of a submarine. We had fun going up and down, inside and out of this thing.
